Bozar Next Generation
Young, promising soloists from around the world can develop their talent in the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, where they receive guidance from first-class teachers and some of the best international soloists who often perform in Brussels. BOZAR has chosen to give them the opportunity to perform in the Henry Le Boeuf Hall on four Sunday mornings. Today two talented musicians will take to the stage. The mezzosoprano Mathilde Legrand graduated summa cum laude from the Bern Opera Studio and recently made her debut in North America. This season, she will play the role of Suzanne (Un Mari à la Porte, Offenbach) at the Opera of Monte Carlo as well as performing at the Petit Palais in Paris and Vaux Hall in Belgium. The pianist Marie Datcharry works as a regular accompanist at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and in the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. She is also the co-founder of the Kaliště piano quartet.
