‘SOLDOUT | PREMIERE: The Biggest Little Farm - John Chester’

3 June'19
- 19:00

in the presence of the director

A film by John Chester
With John and Molly Chester, Emma the pig and Greasy the rooster

It all began with a promise to their dog... Just outside Los Angeles filmmaker John Chester and his wife Molly try to turn a piece of worn-out, dried-up land into a unique farm with a thriving, self-regulating ecosystem. To say there were a few hitches along the way is a massive understatement. The film paints an honest, beautiful and particularly moving picture of the long process they embark upon, the ultimate aim of which is to live in harmony with nature, with both the success stories and the setbacks.

The Biggest Little Farm is an inspirational story for the whole family about making your dreams come true. It is a real eye-opener; an ode to idealism, the endless complexity of nature, and the cycle of life.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion with:
John Chester, Film Director (and film's main character with his wife Molly)
Leonard Mizzi, Head of Unit, (DG DEVCO)
FAO speaker (TBC)

The discussion will be moderated by Petra Hongell, Information Officer, (UNRIC)
With an introduction by Caroline Petit, Deputy Director, (UNRIC)
