Le rêve des Muses

Under the heading of "Le rêve des Muses", the lute player Sofie Vanden Eynde invites us to rediscover some of the early music treasures. The first part comprises a selection of works belonging to the French repertoire, taken from the "Swan" manuscript (1614). Kept in St. Petersburg, this virtually unknown collection brings together beautiful pieces written by French, English, Italian and German composers. France will continue to be the setting for the second part of the recital, as the musician will be inviting us to the courts of Louis XIV and Louis XV, through various compositions by Robert de Visée.
