Beethoven, Chopin & Fauré
The Kanneh-Mason family is unique: seven siblings aged between 13 and 27, all of whom are destined for high-flying musical careers. These talented musicians from across the Channel, dubbed the 'Jacksons of classical music', are now stars in many venues around the world and attract a whole new audience. Sheku Kanneh-Mason is the first Black musician in history to win the BBC Young Musician competition. He performs with some of the greatest orchestras, as does his sister Isata. For this first recital in Brussels, this fascinating duo offers us a programme of just over an hour, for the pleasure of all. On the (varied!) menu, three masterpieces for cello and piano by Beethoven, Chopin and Fauré.
A talk with Sheku & Isata Kanneh Mason will take place between 7.00 pm and 7.30 pm in the Henry Le Boeuf Hall. This encounter will be in English. Free admission.
