‘SHANTI! SHANTI! & ZWAP (BE) 5+’

Despite their various cultural backgrounds the young children in SHANTI SHANTI feel united in their love of music. Lucy Grauman conducts their performance of a new family concert featuring old and new songs about passion, compassion, hope and grief, play, language, school and family. The songs evoke sadness in some, because they have had to leave cherished friends behind, in the recent or distant past. The programme covers a host of fun creations and world premieres. Tuur Florizoone and Laurent Blondiau perform new songs, conducted by themselves and/or members of the ZWAP children's orchestra. Choreography care of Bodé Owa. Directed by Vital Schraenen.
