‘Ryo Murakami’

Ryo Murakami entered the world of music playing piano at an early age, before becoming devoted to synthesizers and drum machines. His productions contain alternative dance music and classical contemporary music, a combination of atmospheric ambient, noise and drone. His production history was also varied up until 2013 when he released an album on his own imprint Depth Of Decay. He has also released work on Poker Flat, the Dessous label and more recent releases on German outlets Baud and Styrax.

Tatsuya Fujimoto, the Osaka-based installation artist, VJ and filmmaker, will handle visuals. His first short film was nominated two years in a row at the Radical Film Festival in Leipzig, Germany. Tatsuya has made various films for the fashion industry, including brands that have participated in the Milano collection, and has gained high acclaim for his installation work in art festivals. He has performed with various artists both in Japan and abroad, including performing at SonarSound Tokyo in 2013 and managing Ryo Murakami’s video for the Berlin Atonal performance in 2015.
