A symphonic evening with a magical singer-songwriter​​​​​​​

"Prince of chamber pop" Rufus Wainwright and Amsterdam Sinfonietta join forces for a spectacular programme called Devils and Angels, inspired by songs about love and hate. Familiar songs like Devils and Angels and Westside Waltz, the Canadian singer-songwriter strings together covers by Prince, Paul Simon and Woodkid, among others. But some classical highlights also interweave with pop songs, such as Wagner's Tristan und Isolde meets Wainwright's Early Morning Madness, or an aria by Gluck flows seamlessly into Devils and Angels.
