‘Rosalba’

Rosalba… is a concert for kids inspired by composer John Dowland’s ballad tunes and a painting by Sandro Botticelli. Rosa and Alba are sisters, at opposite ends of the spectrum. Alba waits, like an iceflow in the breakers. Alba is sad, she’s cold, her smile is frozen. Rosa teaches her a song – the lute song by John Dowland. Music is like a fluffy pompom, a sensory experience which brings your children into contact with the power of classical music.
