Mention a “multicultural vocal ensemble” and you will of course think of... Chaos Magique! This was founded within the context of Ecoculture ASBL, by the musicians and leaders of the association. These professional singers, composers, guitarists and percussionists from Russia, Brazil, Belgium and Cuba sing pop music from their countries of origin and create new arrangements for them. The result is an off-beat musical show that is full of humour and imagination. Rolls Voice is a choir of Brussels women led by Gwendoline Spies, choir leader and a graduate of the French and Dutch-speaking conservatoires of Brussels. Aside from discovering an eclectic repertoire which goes beyond temporal, linguistic and stylistic borders, the choir’s musical approach concentrates on two main features: interpretation and creative expression.
