kunstZ / Sachli Gholamalizad

Sachli Gholamalizad transforms a tale of migration into a generational conflict, both recognizable and emotional. The young actress delves into her family history and, in the process, opens up layer after layer of the lives of her mother and grandmother in Iran. Through diary fragments, films, passages from novels and soundscapes she captures almost inexpressible emotions in an impressive performance. A Reason to talk impresses, disturbs and touches the audience. Award-winner at the TAZ 2014, at the 2015 Theatre Festival and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015.
