The duo Raime played BEAF's first edition in 2012 and blew everybody's minds with their post-grime dark brooding atmosphere, taken from their stunning and instant classic first album. Their second-born, Tooth, was recently released by Blackest ever Black, the label whose quality electronics is showcased regularly by BOZAR Electronic (Regis, Cut Hands, Black Rain, Prurient, ...). Their unique sound "gives way to an urgent and focussed futurism, in the shape of eight fiercely up-tempo, minimal, meticulously crafted electro-acoustic rhythm tracks. The DNA of dub-techno, garage/grime and post-hard-core rock music spliced into sleek and predatory new forms."
