Rising Star
Things are happening apace for the Quatuor Arod. In 2013, four young students at the conservatory of Paris decided to form a quartet. A year later they were awarded two first prizes at prestigious competitions, followed by yet more first prizes at the 2015 Carl Nielsen Competition and the 2016 ARD music competition. In 2017, the quartet was named 'BBC New Generation Artist', and for the 2018-2019 season BOZAR has crowned Arod with the highly coveted title of 'Rising Star' in the context of ECHO, the network of great European concert halls. During their concert, Arod perform will three magnificent quartets from three different centuries, from Mozart by way of Brahms to Webern.
