An exhibition on Europe’s migration crisis

They have crossed the Aegean and the Mediterranean seas in shabby rubber dinghies. They have crawled under barbed wire on the border of Syria and Turkey and in central Europe. They have trudged along dusty roads in Iraq and Syria as bombs and gunfire erupted behind their backs. They have waited in set-up refugee camps in Jordan and Greece and makeshift way stations in Belgrade. They have shivered on icy roads in the middle of the Balkan winter snow. And in the end, they have faced smiling welcoming volunteers, hostile menacing crowds and everything
in between.

AFP has followed and recorded the hope, heartbreak, joy, dignity and hardship of their journeys.
