Gentle and handsome Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) has an odd kind of relationship with his sly cat Mr. Whiskers and his faithful dog Bosco, with whom he shares the house. While Mr. Whiskers spares no pains to convince Jerry he is a serial killer, Bosco tries to keep him on the rails. It is only when he accidentally murders his gorgeous colleague Fiona (Gemma Arterton) that he decides to start taking his medication again. But reality proves far less rosy than he had hoped...
