- 20:00

1912. Great Britain. Maud is a young mother of humble origins. She and her husband work day and night in hellish conditions to make ends meet. Disillusioned by the abuse and oppression of women on the shop floor she becomes increasingly involved in the women’s movement The Suffragettes. When peaceful protest achieves nothing, the movement becomes radicalised and Maud’s actions grow bolder and riskier. She puts everything she holds dear at stake in her fight to give women the vote; the greater the opposition, the greater her resolve.
