‘PREMIERE: Atlantic - Jan-Willem van Ewijk’

Longing for freedom, the young fisherman Fettah is determined to reach Europe across the Atlantic with nothing but a surfboard as a raft. Fettah lives in a Moroccan village by the sea. During a particularly memorable summer, the young man meets the beautiful Alexandra. After the young woman leaves, Fettah decides to escape the confines of his home town and undertakes a perilous journey to join her. This poetic and visually stunning film is an ode to freedom and the quest for self-fulfillment.
