‘Postponed: Hagen Quartett’

25 Nov.'15
- 20:00

For some decades now, the Hagen Quartett – which includes three siblings – has been one of the finest chamber ensembles of our time. Their programme takes us from Joseph Haydn, regarded as the father of the string quartet genre, to Béla Bartók, whose six quartets are masterpieces of the repertoire. We will also hear the only string quartet ever written by the great lieder composer Hugo Wolf, as well as his Italienische Serenade.
