‘Porteur d'eau’

The porteurs d’eau or water carriers are the people who serve their leader in bike races. Denis Laujol plays his own role - he was a cyclist before he got involved in theatre – in addition to that of Florent Mathieu, Belgian cyclist and the pride of the Borinage in the 1950s. A reflection on heroism, bravery, work and humility which pulls off the tremendous feat of combining philosophy and humour.
