A man who needs no introduction: the guitarist Pat Metheny has been a household name in international jazz for almost fifty years. The winner of many (20!) Grammy Awards has played with artists including Steve Reich, Ornette Coleman and David Bowie in the course of his rich career. However, Metheny will perform his intimate project Dream Box/MoonDial solo in our large auditorium. The great master will combine his own work and jazz standards, as he did in his 2023 album of the same name. Dream Box brings together numbers that Metheny had stored for many years in a forgotten folder on his computer. Only during his recent tour – with 160 concerts worldwide – did he return to them. On MoonDial from 2024, he embraces the rich possibilities of his baritone guitar. This is as close to the man and his dreams as you have ever been.
