Ottavina is a small choir of women led by the young and dynamic Tatyana Donets. According to the seasons and opportunities, its repertoire takes us from the Renaissance to the 20th century, from one continent to another; from sacred works to secular songs, from classical to jazz. The Bartók Ensemble, as its name indicates, this ensemble is made up of Hungarian and Belgian singers of Hungarian origin who want to enhance the status of their identity and patrimony by interpreting music collected by the composers and ethnomusicologists Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály. On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Kodály’s death, the Bartók Ensemble pays tribute to this excellent teacher whose motto was “Music is for everyone!”

Before the concert, don’t miss the “The Kodály method” workshop (4:30 – 5:20 pm, Studio) which will introduce you, through its practice, to all that Hungarian pop music has to offer!
