Part of a new wave of DJs in England, OR:LA has breathed fresh life into Liverpool’s electronic scene. As both the organiser of the Meine Nacht nights on Merseyside and the cofounder of the Deep Sea Frequency label (her 2017 twotrack Kyoto Dance was its debut release), to say that Orlagh Dooley has more than one string to her bow would be an understatement. Drawing from an immensely broad musical spectrum taking in UK bass,tribal house, deep, breakbeat, acid and 90s techno, in addition to an impressive range of technical skills, OR:LA is set to become an omnipresent fixture in 2018.
