John Williams / Steven Spielberg
Jaws, Indiana Jones, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, The Adventures of Tintin... It is nearly impossible to keep track of the numerous blockbusters that have emerged from the minds of Steven Spielberg and his favorite composer, John Williams. Together, they have made an indelible mark on the history of cinema, each using their unique genius to elevate the other's art. In doing so, they stay deeply connected to human emotions. The Orchestre Philharmonique Royale de Liège performs some of the most famous pieces from John Williams' repertoire (with clear influences of Mahler, Sibelius, and jazz) combined with an original lighting design tailored to the music.
