Warning Concert at 7pm

It has been a long time now since Philippe Herreweghe restricted himself to the Baroque. With the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées, he has tackled Romantic and pre-Romantic music. With his Collegium Vocale, too, he has been known to make excursions into the 19th century. So nothing could be more natural than to see Herreweghe's two ensembles join forces in Das Paradies und die Peri, a Schumann oratorio, dating from 1843, about a spirit in Persian mythology.
