‘Orchestre de Paris, Paavo Järvi, Sol Gabetta’

CONTEXT: 19:00 Lecture-Performance by David Ramael & BOHO4 string quartet

It has been a long time since we have had the pleasure of welcoming the Orchestre de Paris, one of the finest French orchestras. It comes to us this time with its artistic director, the Estonian conductor Paavo Järvi, and a flamboyant soloist – the cellist Sol Gabetta, one of this season's BOZAR "Portrait" artists. They will perform two of French music's greatest hits, as well as a work by Arvo Pärt commissioned by the Orchestre de Paris and dedicated to the ensemble and its principal conductor.
