A Mile in My Shoes - Said Khallaf (Morocco)
A Mile In My Shoes tells the story of a boy, Saïd, whose life was one of poverty and suffering before he decided to take his revenge on a society in which the weakness of an individual results in marginalisation, poverty, rape, intolerance and a desire to hurt others.
In 2003, in Canada, Saïd Khallaf was co-founder of the Jabran Theater Group. In 2005, Saïd completed his studies at a film school in Vancouver. Between 2005 and 2012 he went on to make a number of short films and a TV Show for a Canadian channel. With a solid academic training plus regular workshops and continuous study of screenplay writing, Saïd Khallaf has written for Moroccan directors including Abdelkrim Derkaoui and Mohamed Karrat.
