50th anniversary gala concert
Les Pastoureaux, the emblematic Belgian boys' choir, will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with an exceptional concert.
Under the direction of Philippe Favette and Xavier Devillers, the choir will transport you with a varied program, mixing great classics of sacred music, traditional songs and contemporary works.
Founded in 1974, the choir is made up of boys aged 8 to 15 singing the soprano and alto voices, backed up by young adults forming the tenor and bass desks. With over 1000 concerts given in Belgium and on tour all over the world, they have acquired international renown. Their recognised musical quality has enabled them to sing alongside José van Dam and to be invited by the Belgian royal family, as well as to take part in events such as the official show for the transition to the euro, Eurovision for choirs and the cine-concert of “Les Choristes” with the European Philarmonia under the direction of Anthony Gabriele.
For this exceptional concert, Les Pastoureaux will be accompanied by the Néthen String Ensemble and the Quartz Wind Ensemble.
Join Les Pastoureaux in celebrating 50 years of music and passion, and share a moment of emotion and conviviality with family and friends.
