This autumn, A+ Architecture in Belgium and Bozar invite Armand Eeckels and Halewijn Lievens of NU architectuuratelier in Ghent for an inaugural lecture. The event marks the opening of the monographic exhibition "Play", dedicated to their work.
NU architectuuratelier is an architecture and design research studio founded by Armand Eeckels and Halewijn Lievens in 2004. For almost two decades, the firm has taken an empathetic approach to the design process, aiming to make a qualitative contribution to our social and spatial environment. Recent projects include Huis Perrekes, a facility for people with dementia in Oosterlo, and their work at Meise Botanic Gardens, where they designed a conservatory and reception pavilions that create a new access with great respect for the site.
