Saint-Saëns Festival

Did you know that Camille Saint-Saëns composed his Carnival of the Animals to amuse his friends? During his lifetime, it was only performed once, but it went on to become incredibly popular. Saint-Saëns give us mischievous portraits of a succession of animals, brought to life by a variety of instruments. A colourful concert that should appeal to both young and old.
