Slam, Dance, Stand Up
Make way for the talented new generation! The Afropolitan Festival and its partner Kuumba vzw present an exceptional evening of dance, stand-up and slam.
To open the evening, the famous choreographer and influencer Jeny BSG will set the stage alight with her dancers.
Then, B.Girl and comedian Soe Nsuki, well known to viewers of the mini-series The Shaq, will follow her for a stand-up routine that promises to be memorable.
The third part of the evening will be dedicated to the young artists of the "Next Outspoken Generation" project, led by Kuumba and the Rotterdam collective Woorden Worden Zinnen. This project has been running since 2020 and allows young slammers from Brussels and Rotterdam to meet and write texts together that focus on youth engagement and empowerment; it is led by Elten Kiene (WWZ). The festival stage will host their recent creations.
With: Jeny BSG, Soe Nsuki and the slammers: Alice Uwineza, Brebre Uwin, Noé Matrix, Rihab, Lisa Adele, Hakim, Yaell Campell, Ashanti
