‘Negative Numbers – Uta Beria’

In a juvenile detention centre in Tbilisi, two ex-professional rugby players introduce rugby training. Rugby, along with physical improvement, also causes mental changes. The main character is facing a dilemma; he needs to make a choice between authoritarian power and inner freedom.

Uta Beria was born in Rustavi, Georgia in 1987. In 2009 he graduated from the Shota Rustaveli University of theatre and Film, Faculty of Television and Film. He made several short films such as Ferris Wheel (2013) and In the Rain (2008).
