Festival Saint-Saëns

Camille Saint-Saëns thoroughly deserves a festival of his own: his greatest hits, after all, are hugely popular, while even his minor works are gems – Phaéton, for example, a symphonic poem based on an ancient Greek myth. The concertos in this concert are played by the Israeli pianist Boris Giltburg, winner of the Queen Elisabeth competition in 2013, and two members of the orchestra: Olsi Leka on the cello and Ivo Hadermann on the horn.
