‘MUSICAL BOXES (BE/PT/FR) 5+’

The MUSIC ROOMS are by now a legendary element of the BIG BANG festival. Time and time again this musical voyage of discovery has provided delightful surprises through the hidden rooms and forgotten corners of the festival venues. This year, 3 special projects await you behind the doors of their very own music room:

• His hurdy-gurdy and Michael Jackson hits have made Patrick Mathis of France a massive Youtube hit.
• Portuguese harpsichord player Joana Bagulho inspired her talented daughter to make a film animation about a girl who gets bored, wanders around the city and bumps into Jeroen Bosch-like characters. 
•  A foretaste of the new Zonzo presentation ‘3ACH – a stairway to heaven’. Two violinists take you into the world of the grandmaster himself: Johann Sebastian Bach.
