Each year in October, Brussels' museums come alive until midnight. Bozar is enthusiastically participating in this new edition of Museum Night Fever. On the programme, the flagship exhibition Love is Louder explores love in all its forms: romantic, friendly, familial, but also social and political. The exhibition also explores how friendships take shape and what acts of love mean in society. Under the theme "Love is louder," a series of creative activities are planned.
After its first edition in Rome in 2023, Polyphonie d'amour is coming to Brussels. The radio encounter initiated by Anna Raimondo is guided by the insights of bell hooks in her book ‘All About Love: New Visions’ and inspired by the political and ethical impact of the way each person defines and experiences love. This programme opens the microphone and offers a multi-voiced, multi-lingual improvisation on love. Using words and sounds, first-person accounts, music and songs, the content collected will become a podcast co-produced by Michel-Ange Vinti of Studio Balado (graphic design by Antoine Lobstein).
The duo Chaos Village (NMSS & Simlo) are offering a unique audiovisual performance, immersing visitors in a universe of chaotic images and electric sounds: a real human interconnection, a creative dialogue between DJs and VJs. To round off the evening in style, the sisterly duo Femifé & Sica Kidjo will plunge you into a festive atmosphere until one o'clock in the morning.
