This Grammy nominee knows just how to capture the spirit of Monk’s music in breezy arrangements, humorous off-beat melodies, strange beauty and boundless swing, seasoned with New Orleans spirit, Afro-Cuban rhythms and attractive colours.  Beasley’s MONK’estra presents Monk’s music with an ear to the future.
