‘Mona Verhas & Paul Heyman’

22 Sept.'19
- 11:00

BOZAR Next Generation

Young Mona Verhas (° 1997) is one of the country’s most promising talents at present. She has picked up an impressive array of awards in recent years and has taken master classes with world-renowned violinists. Along with the equally talented cellist Paul Heyman, she presents a colourful programme of 20th-century compositions. They combine Ravel’s masterful  Sonata for violin and cello, dedicated to Debussy, with less well-known duets by the Swiss Arthur Honegger, member of the famous Les Six and Hungarian Zoltán Kodály, a fervent defender of the national folk music .
