‘MM Academy: Soloists & Laureates’

The MM Academy project was set up in 2015 by La Monnaie to give students from the eight Belgian conservatories the chance of a professional internship in an opera house chorus or orchestra. It allows music students to gain crucial professional experience, right from the start of their studies. In other words, the project is a constructive response to the often lamented gap between the lofty educational world of the conservatory and the real world practicalities of the stage arts.
