‘Midori Seiler’

Violinist Midori Seiler lives and breathes the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Like a sculptor detecting in the shapeless marble the masterpiece that she will extract from it, Midori Seiler starts out from silence to model musical phrases. She embarks upon Bach’s Partitas for solo violin with an infinite sensitivity. Sticking as closely as possible to the spirit of the composer, she intersperses them with gentle breaths which always serve the advancement of the discourse.
