Meet the writer
Michael Chabon is a protégé of the American literature scene. Of his nine novels, The mysteries of Pittsburgh (1988) was released as a film, featuring Sienna Miller and Peter Sarsgaard, and Wonder Boys (1995) was filmed with Michael Douglas in the starring role.
Chabon writes essays, short stories, detective stories, science fiction and even the script for Spider Man 2. His Great American Novel The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
Michael Chabon is guest of honour at the Foire du Livre in Brussels and is coming to BOZAR on 14 February to speak about his multifaceted oeuvre with the literary journalist Marnix Verplancke.
