‘Meet the Writer: Franklin Foer’

Franklin Foer was a guest at Bozar in 2017 to talk about 'A world without mind', his book about GAFA (Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon).

This time, he comes to present ‘The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden's White House and the Struggle for America's Future', a revealing book about US President Joe Biden. As 2024 is also a crucial election year in the United States, so this book comes just in time.

As a contributor to The Atlantic, Franklin Foer had exclusive access to Biden and those close to him. He revisits the challenging and important early years of Biden's presidency from an insider's perspective.

The book ranges from the withdrawal of the last troops from Afghanistan and the war in Ukraine to defeating politics at a time when the stability of American democracy is in jeopardy.
