‘Meet the Thinker: Mona Chollet’

13 Sept.'23
- 20:00

Bozar opens its new season with one of today's most prominent voices. Franco-Swiss Mona Chollet is best known for her feminist essays and books. She broke through internationally with the book In Defense of Witches (2019, English translation 2022) and repeated that success with Reinventer l'amour (2021). She celebrates the witch as a feminist rebel avant-la-lettre and tackles pressing issues such as misogyny in the fashion industry or the influence of patriarchy on heterosexual relationships. Her work was awarded the European Essay Prize and inspired hundreds of thousands of readers.

Chollet's public appearances are extremely rare, but at Bozar's special request she is opening the new season. She will deliver a keynote speech with the promising title "Des palais de mots”, followed by a conversation with Pascal Claude. The perfect opportunity to finally see her at work.
