‘MEET THE ARTISTS’

In the context of the Summer of Photography on the theme 'Urban Vibes', BOZAR invites the artists of the exhibition Dey your Lane! Lagos Variations (opening June 16) to present their work over a casual discussion led by exhibition curator Azu Nwagbogu (director of LagosPhoto).

With: Abraham Oghobase, Uche Okpa-Iroha, twice recipient of the Seydou Keita award at the Bamako photography biennial, Lakin Ogunbanwo, whose photograph ‘The Human Condition’ was chosen as campaign image, David Uzochukwu, the youngest photographer of the exhibition (18) and resident of Brussels, Adolphus Opara and George Osodi, exhibited worldwide, Adeola Olagunju, developing her own conceptual approach, Logo Oluwamuyiwa Adeyemi, undertaking a monochrome documentation of Lagos, and Lorenzo Vitturi, Medina Dugger, Bas Losekoot, François Beaurain, all presenting for the first time here recent work produced from the fascination they have with Lagos.
