For almost 60 years, Maurizio Pollini has been enchanting audiences with his musical intelligence, perfect technique and amiable personality. He has played as a soloist with the most prestigious orchestras and conductors as legendary as Claudio Abbado, Pierre Boulez and Simon Rattle. To celebrate his 80th birthday, the pianist highlights two masters: Franz Schubert and Ludwig van Beethoven. The legendary pianist offers you also the Hammerklavier Sonata, which Beethoven said would give 'hard work to the pianists' of the future.
