‘MARKO MARKOVIC ORKESTAR & SPECIAL GUEST: BOBAN MARKOVIC + ANA BARIC’

Marko Marković learnt music and played in the brass band of his legendary father Boban Marković. A renowned trumpet player, he has played with great musicians such as Emir Kusturica, Goran Bregović, DJ Shantel, Ivo Papazov and Esma Redžepova. Marko has an innate sense of energy, rhythm and performance and is one of the greatest ambassadors of gypsy music. With his brass band, he is one of the very few artists who is capable of restoring its identity to an atmosphere full of extraordinary vitality combined with a touch of melancholy. He and his father will be reunited on our stage for a concert which is sure to get audiences in the Centre for Fine Arts up on their feet.
