Marisol Valderrama was born in Brussels but has her roots in Andalusia, in the mythical port town of Cádiz, the spiritual home of flamenco. She began to dance at the age of five and her talent soon attracted attention. She studied with such masters of the flamenco as Joaquin Grilo, Alejandro Granados and Javier Latorre as she developed her individual style. Today she has gathered around her some Spanish friends as she highlights the link between the two countries.
