‘LUX PRIZE FILM DAYS’

10 + 11
Nov.'15

Every year the European Parliament awards the LUX FILM PRIZE to a film which helps to shape European identity. Three remarkable films are being screened in the 28 European Member States and you will get the chance to vote for your favourite. In Urok [The lesson] you see how economic misfortune destroys a comfortable existence in a school in Bulgaria. Mediterannea broaches the sensitive subject of migrants who cross the Mediterranean and in Mustang the Turkish director Deniz Gamze Ergüven paints the portrait of five girls trapped in a society dominated by men and local traditions.
