‘Love, Lost and Found’

Enjoy the final concert of Singing Brussels Celebration! This event is unique in its genre and brings together no less than a thousand experienced, amateur and novice choristers in the Henry Le Boeuf Great Hall. For many of them, the concert is the result of work put in throughout the year. Come along and listen to them and, if you fancy it, you too can be part of the choir by getting involved in the preparatory workshop organised during the day.

On stage, Paul Smith will lead the ensemble, accompanied by his exceptional vocal group VOCES8 and the Belgian National Youth Choir BEvocaL. The programme, the theme of which is the Renaissance, interweaves works from past and present, ranging from Josquin Desprez’s sublime polyphonies to the R&B grooves of Jill Scott, by way of Monteverdi, Debussy, Poulenc and Jacques Brel.
