‘Lettres du continent’

In Lettres du Continent, a production by Kabako Studios, choreographers and dancers from 17 countries use a video letter to talk about their daily lives in Tunis, Dakar, Lagos, etc. They talk about the crisis, their work and problems, but also about hopes and dreams. More than ever, they feel the need to create. The 21 letters they wrote in May and June 2020 are self-portraits of a new generation of African artists who try to capture and share the story of their changing continent.
