Full Circle teams up with BOZAR to bring to Brussels a new compelling and thought-provoking debate series on some of the most controversial issues of our time. This first debate tackles the gripping controversy on the relative merits and effectiveness of the sharing economy in today’s society. Does the sharing economy represent a truly counter-cultural movement that will help us transition away from a collapsed economic system, or is it just business as usual in disguise? Accomplished orators make the case for and against the sharing economy.

Juliet Schor is Professor of Sociology at Boston College, and a renowned intellectual winning accolades for expanding the frontiers of economic thought. Her research focuses on consumption, time use, environmental sustainability and ecological economics.
Michel Bauwens is a Belgian peer-to-peer pioneer, theorist, researcher and active writer on the subject of technology, culture and business innovation. He is director and founder of the P2P Foundation.
Steve Keen is one of very few economists to  predict the great financial crisis and recession, and raised the alarm in advance. He is Head of the School of Economics, History and Politics at Kingston University London.
Judith Wellenstein is a senior partner at Boston Consulting Group and leads the BCG Henderson Institute in Europe. Through her analysis, she is examining the implications of the sharing economy and the future of work.
