‘Les séries digitales au féminin’

Digital series allow a freedom of tone and form that enables stories to be told in a different way, breaking free from the codes of the cinema or the televised series. The issue of gender is no exception for this new medium, which allows a focus on female characters, breaking free from stereotypes, while also providing an opportunity to discuss taboo issues like women’s sexuality or LGBT communities.
It’s hardly surprising to find so many women in key positions in the creation of digital series, as screenwriters, directors, producers… as well as in the editorial teams of broadcasters.
This round table will address the relationship between digital series, gender and creative teams.
