‘Les Musiciens du Louvre’

13 Nov.'16
- 19:00

Marc Minkowski was not yet 20 years of age when he founded Les Musiciens du Louvre back in 1982. The French group soon became known as one of the best Baroque and classical music ensembles, but it doesn’t turn its nose up at a bit of 19th century, in the style of Offenbach or Wagner, for example. This evening, the musicians are once again demonstrating their exceptional ability to adapt to romantic music, by giving us the chance to enjoy one of the most famous ballets of the repertoire, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ story of the same name.
